ZoneScout is an AI-powered regulatory intelligence platform that provides analysis and interpretation of BC Building Code provisions, municipal zoning bylaws, and related regulatory documents. The Service is intended to assist building professionals, architects, engineers, developers, and other industry stakeholders in navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
3. Professional Disclaimer - Not a Licensed Professional
ZoneScout is an AI-powered research tool, not a licensed architect, engineer, lawyer, or professional consultant of any kind.
The information provided by the Service is for general informational and reference purposes only. It does not constitute professional architectural, engineering, legal, financial, or regulatory advice. All outputs generated by the AI are interpretive in nature and should not be relied upon as a substitute for qualified professional judgment.
You are solely responsible for verifying all information against the applicable official regulatory documents and for obtaining appropriate professional advice before making decisions relating to building projects, permit applications, or regulatory compliance. ZoneScout expressly disclaims any liability arising from reliance on information provided through the Service.

4. User Responsibilities
You agree that:

- You will use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- You will not attempt to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or use automated tools to scrape or abuse the platform.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
5. Access to the Service
ZoneScout is currently free to use. Daily lookup limits protect the availability of municipal data services.
6. Fair Use Policy
Use of the Service is subject to a Fair Use Policy. The Service is intended for individual use. Automated queries, bulk API-style usage, reselling access, or any usage that places excessive or disproportionate load on our systems - as determined in our sole discretion - constitutes a violation of this policy.
We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, after reasonable notice where practicable.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and technology associated with ZoneScout are the property of NLV Media Labs Inc. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
