Bill 44 Zoning Map: What Can Your Kamloops Lot Hold?

An interactive map of Kamloops lots, coloured by current bylaw-derived residential capacity. The map applies the City Urban Footprint, municipal water and sewer evidence, the 4,050 m² ceiling, protected heritage, the Agricultural Land Reserve, Transit-Oriented Areas, and the Province-approved limited-fire-flow extension.

Click any lot to see its zone, unit count, rule, Transit-Oriented Area designation and rezoning opportunity where applicable, and a link to the full bylaw-cited report.

What the colours mean

Where these numbers come from

Bands use ParcelMap BC geometry and FEATURE_AREA_SQM joined to the City of Kamloops zoning and overlay services, then run through the same Kamloops zone table and rule modules as the report. R1 to R3 are shown at up to 3 units on lots of 280 m² or less and up to 4 units on larger eligible lots. R4 has its own local six-unit permission.

Every figure on this map is a starting point, not a permit. Actual capacity for a given site depends on lot dimensions, corner and lane conditions, easements, and form of development. Run the address for the cited, per-lot answer.
